Hello students! This week, we studied the Simple Past tense, in the form of sentences, questions and answers.
For this post, I want you to choose a famous person from history.
1.- Introduce them by saying their name, who they were, and why you chose them. You can also post links to that person´s biography, his picture, etc.
2.- You are going to ask 5 questions about that person in the Past tense.
3.- Answer the questions
For example:
I want to write about Henry VIII. He was the King of England for the first half of the 16th century. I chose him because I am interested in British history, and because I like learning about kings and queens.
When was Henry born? - Henry was born in 1491. He was the son of Henry VII and Elizabeth of York.
What were his biggest accomplishments? / What is he most known for? - Answer
Why did Henry separate England from the Catholic Church? - Answer
Did Henry get married many times? / How many wives did Henry have? - Answer
How did Henry die? / How old was Henry when he died? - Answer
