Last class, we studied the Past Progressive tense, which is similar to the Present Progressive.
The difference is, the verb To Be is used in the past instead of the present:
Subject + Was/Were + Verb_ING + Complement
The Past Progressive is often used for telling stories, like when you are remembering something that happened to you and talking about it.
For this post, you are going to write a short story of 8 sentences minimum, using the Past Progressive.
It can be something that really happened (to you or to your friends, something you saw in the news, etc), or it can be imaginary.
Remember, you can use the words "when", "while" and "as" to unite 2 ideas.
For example:
When I left the house, they were still talking on the phone. / I was snowboarding when I broke my leg.
While she was writing the email, the computer suddenly turned off. / He was thinking about the movie while he was walking to work.
As we were talking in the park, it started to rain. / Robert was waiting for us as we got off the plane.

(Always remember to use was/were in the past progressive. If you don´t, the whole sentence is incorrect. Also, study the past tenses of the verbs, because many of them are irregular and you have to learn them in order to write them well)

Last thursday, we went to the movies. She was reluctant as first, but everything went smooht. Our lips danced through the night as i held her tight. I fell into a trance as she spoke, lost myself in each and every moment of that night. She fell into my arms when i less expected it. I tried to make it natural while i was actually nervious and terrified, but it happened anyways, she was right next to me with that puppy look on her face. It lasted only a second and it was followed by tears and thoughs of guilt. That was our very first kiss.
